President
Eberhard Braun |
The 23rd Congress, held in Cork (Ireland)
was attended by 201 delegates and almost 70 accompanying persons. The technical
programme and the majority of the papers presented to the congress, are
presented below. The quality of the technical pro-gramme was outstanding.
The debates on the new European insolvency regulation, the possibility
to connect with Chapter 11 BC proceedings with protocols or the new UK
Companies Act, to mention only some of the highlights of the congress,
fascinated the delegates so that they may not have even realized that the
weather was not as in Malta the year before. There are some changes to
the components of our com-mittees and executives which you can see in the
relevant section on the web site. From my point of view, to be appointed
as president of INSOL Europe is a challenging task for the current year.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any suggestions to make. |
