Invitation to join INSOL Europe's sponsoring group

What is INSOL Europe?

INSOL Europe is the association of European qualified practitioners, experienced in the field of business recovery, turnaround and insolvency issues. Membership comprises primarily lawyers and accountants who are insolvency practitioners. Associate members are members of the judiciary, academics, lenders, credit insurers, regulators and others with an interest in the law and in the practice of the above-mentioned field.

INSOL Europe has approximately 800 members in over 30 European countries. Its Secretary-General is appointed for several years, its officers and other council members for three years, but re-electable.

All these persons may be chosen from all countries where the association has its members.

The associations mission is to take and maintain a leading role in European business recovery, turnaround and insolvency issues.

Its goals are to facilitate the exchange of both technical and topical information, to include the publication of a magazine and a website, to discuss and negotiate with relevant officials of European and other international bodies in regard to any matter which may concern members, to exchange ideas amongst it members and to encourage greater international co-operation and communication within Europe. INSOL Europe has recently introduced a number of important initiatives:

An Academic Group has been set up, composed of academics from the UK, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Spain, all of them experts in the insolvency field. They will appear regularly as speakers at annual and regional congresses, will publish articles and papers, lead panel and other discussion groups and hold (crash-) courses, parallel with the annual congress. In the current climate of increasing cross-border insolvency and the relatively new European Insolvency Regulation giving rise to many questions from members in a variety of states, each professional in our field will undoubtedly be aware of this Group's great importance. On the other hand, everybody may realise that this Group is not a profit making business. Therefore this Group is an excellent object for sponsoring. Post academic seminars in 2005 were held in Leuven (Belgium) and jointly with R3 in London (England).
Rules for the best practice in insolvency matters are currently being developed.
A monitoring system and insolvency register will be established
An online "chatroom" is being developed for questions and answers concerning the European Insolvency Regulation.

From 2004 INSOL Europe has a limited number of sponsorship opportunities for organisations with an interest in the European business recovery, turnaround and insolvency issues. Sponsorship is an excellent way to reach European leading insolvency and business recovery specialists, influence the judiciary and lawmakers all over Europe and reap the benefits of INSOL Europe's good relationship with the EU.

INSOL Europe has developed a Sponsoring Group whose sponsors have several interesting benefits and advantages, such as :

Oral and/or oral introduction at congress

Sponsoring Group membership rates.
Full membership of the INSOL Europe Sponsoring Group requires an annual contribution of € 7,500 with a minimum three year commitment. Small organisation (under 15 professional staff) membership requires € 4,000 and a minimum one-year commitment and adapted advantages. Exclusivity of sponsorship, nor free use of INSOL Europe's logo is possible without explicit written permission.

There are many more sponsorship opportunities.

Full membership of the association often is combined with a sponsorship of Eurofenix. The required, discounted rate for the Eurofenix sponsorship then is € 3,000.
The annual congress as a main or as a general sponsor. A contribution is required of € 15,000 or € 10,000 respectively.
A great variety of congress event sponsorships, such as sponsorships for the gala dinner, for speakers, lunches, coffee-breaks, opening reception and dinner etcetera. Contributions range from € 7,000 to € 1,500 (view congress sponsoring opportunites).
The Academic Group. A Main sponsor - that will see its name published all over Europe and will have more benefits - will pay €22,500 or €7,500 p.a. with at least a three-consecutive-year commitment.
