Vacancies at INSOL Europe

FULL-TIME TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

INSOL Europe, a conference and events organisation for insolvency and restructuring professionals across Europe, is looking for a full-time Technical Assistant to support our Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive individual with relevant administrative or coordination experience to join a small, close-knit team. The role is varied and hands-on, and will involve supporting the technical programme of our conferences and events, updating our website as instructed, and providing general administrative support to the CTO.

We are looking for someone who can work efficiently under their own initiative once briefed, and who brings sound judgement, professionalism and reliability to the role. As INSOL Europe operates across many countries and cultures, the successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with a wide range of professional styles and expectations and resilient under pressure.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, worked from home during normal working hours, for a salary tbc plus statutory holidays. The make-up of hours across the week is flexible and will be discussed at interview. Twice a year, you will be required to travel within Europe for our two main annual events, for up to 5 days per event.

Full details of the job are provided in the Job Description attached.

The chosen candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
  • Previous administrative or coordination experience, ideally within events, membership organisations or professional bodies
  • Understanding of office management systems including Microsoft Office 365
  • Ability to use online database, website content and social media platforms (specific training will be given)
  • Excellent written communication skills for professional correspondence
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload across several events and projects
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to deal professionally with members, speakers and committees across an international organisation
  • Professional and friendly demeanour
If you are interested in applying, please write to Paul Newson, Chief Executive Officer.

We will be interviewing potential candidates in August 2026 and appointing in September 2026, to start working for us straight forward.

INSOL Europe is an equal opportunities employer.
