INSOL Europe offer a range of publications in our Technical Series, arising from events organised by the INSOL Europe Academic Forum and the Judicial Wing of INSOL Europe. The latest publication is out now. "The Reform of International Insolvency Rules at European and National Level" results from the Academic Forum in Milan in 2011. The conferences for which reports have been produced are the Joint Insolvency Conference at Leiden (5 - 6 June 2008), on the theme of "Crossing (Dutch) Borders in Insolvency", the Annual Conference in Barcelona (1 - 2 October 2008), on the theme of "The Intersection of Company and Insolvency Law", the Joint Insolvency Conference at Brighton, UK (26 - 27 March 2009) on the theme of "Celebrating the 30 Years since Publication of the Cork Report", the Annual Conference in Stockholm (30 Sept & 1 Oct 2009) on "the European Insolvency Regulation - an update" and the Annual Conference in Vienna (13 - 14 October 2010), on the theme of "Insolvency and Groups of Companies".
More recently, the Judical Wing papers from their meeting in Vienna (14 October 2010) on "Regulations and Measures of Protection in National Legislations Within the European Union" also form part of the INSOL Europe technical series.
The publications contain papers delivered by speakers and panellists at those conferences. Ancillary texts (draft laws and rules) debated at the conferences are also included. The texts form a comprehensive report of the conferences and contain accounts of recent research in the insolvency field that will be useful for academics and practitioners alike.
These publications form part of a regular series of conference reports and are priced at Euros 20 each. Publication is already being planned of papers from the Milan and Venice Academic Conferences held on 31 March - 1 April 2011 and 21 - 22 September 2011 respectively and of the Judicial Wing Meeting held in Venice on 22 September 2011.
In addition to the above, papers from the Honours Class "Comparative and International Insolvency Law" organised at Leiden Law School, the Netherlands : March - June 2009 have also been published by INSOL Europe. This booklet, edited by Anthon Verweij LL.M and Prof Bob Wessels is priced at Euros 20 and may be purchased online below, along with other publications in the INSOL Europe technical series.
