01-05-2024 to 03-05-2024
Location

R3’s 2024 Annual Conference will take place at the beautiful Fairmont Hotel located in St Andrews. This year’s conference theme ‘Forging global pathways: UK insolvency and restructuring in a post-Brexit world’ will explore global economic trends and the role and shape of the eco-system for insolvency and restructuring in an inter-connected world. The programme will also explore the potential pathways these create for firms and professionals at every stage of their career.

As well as engaging technical sessions there will also be an exciting range of social and networking activities bringing delegates together. These include Highland Games, a welcome reception, gala dinner and Ceilidh. The conference will host around 250 delegates from across the UK’s leading insolvency and restructuring profession.
We’re delighted to announce that The Rt Hon Lord David Triesman will be our keynote speaker.

With an extensive career including roles as a Merchant Banker, Government Minister FCO, General Secretary Labour Party, and Economist, he will be able to give an excellent overview of the geo-political picture of the UK and its place in the EU and beyond. As the UK is potentially facing imminent political and government change Lord Triesman will provide plenty of powerful insights.

INSOL Europe President, Giorgio Corno, will be hosting an all-INSOL Europe panel titled 'EU Passports to the right, UK to the left - pathways in EU post-Brexit' on the Thursday afternoon.
