How can I get more involved with INSOL Europe?
Members can:- Attend INSOL Europe events at a discounted rate
- Propose themes/topics for events with the opportunity to speak at events
- Contribute to publications and newsletters

- Connect with INSOL Europe members starting with your council member, country coordinator and the INSOL Europe team.
How do I apply for membership?
Complete and submit the online membership application form, which will be reviewed by the INSOL Europe membership team. You will be contacted if further information is required. If approved, you will receive a welcome email along with an invoice for membership payment. We usually approve new applicants within 2 days.Is a reference/proposer required to become a member?
No. Simply complete the online membership application form.Is membership individual or corporate?
Membership of INSOL Europe is on an individual basis. We do not offer corporate membership.Is my membership transferable?
No. We cannot transfer membership to someone else. However, if you move firms, your membership stays with you.What membership categories are available?
INSOL Europe offers a range of membership categories, with discounted rates available for certain groups.Are there any other membership fee discounts available?
Yes, if 3 or more people join from the same firm in the same country at the same time, the one-off joining fee is waived.If you join over halfway through the membership year the annual membership fee is halved.
If you are a member of a National Association, we have a cooperation agreement with, the one-off joining fee is waived.
What is INSOL International and how does it relate to my membership?
Our membership includes membership of INSOL International. INSOL International’s membership does not include INSOL Europe membership, so it’s better to join INSOL Europe first as you get both! If you are already a member of INSOL International through another association such as R3, we will be informed.We automatically provide INSOL International with a list of our paid-up members, so as long as you have paid your INSOL Europe membership fee you will be on INSOL International membership database too. To log in to your INSOL International account, you should use the email address you used when applying for membership and will be asked to create a password. Our systems don’t talk, so you will need to ensure both your INSOL Europe and INSOL International profiles are updated with any changes.
When does my membership end?
Our membership is a rolling agreement, so unless we hear from you, your membership will automatically renew each year. Our membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March.When will I be invoiced?
New members will receive an invoice when their membership application has been approved. Renewal invoices are issued annually in early March.How do I pay my INSOL Europe membership fee?
You can pay online by Visa, Mastercard, or bank transfer (BACS). We do not offer direct debits. Please note, that American Express (AMEX) is not accepted.What are the payment terms?
Membership invoices should be paid within 30 days of issue. If payment has not been received within 3 months, INSOL Europe has the right to suspend your membership.How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel at any time by emailing natashasable@insol-europe.org. Please note, refunds are not offered for cancelled memberships.I’ve forgotten my password what can I do?
No problem, there is a ‘forgotten password’ link on the login page, alternatively email Natasha on natashasable@insol-europe.org and she will reset it for you.How do I update my membership profile?
This can be done at any time. Log in to your account using your email address and password, click on ‘update profile’ then make any changes. Remember to ‘save’ the changes before exiting.Will my details appear on the online membership directory?
Yes, unless you have opted out of your details being published. To check you have given consent, log in, click ‘Update profile’, then scroll down to the ‘Preferences’ section. You can also view your profile by typing your name in the ‘find a member’ search box at the top of our homepage. Ensure that you select to share your details with Lexis Nexis in your preferences. You will receive login details for directly from Lexis Nexis, this usually takes 6 weeks from joining INSOL Europe. All members are emailed the latest copy of Eurofenix when it’s published. But the latest edition, along with all previous editions can be found on our website here.What are the Technical Series publications, and do I have access to them?
Yes all members gain access to our Technical publications. We provide various publications including a compilation of papers presented at each Academic Forum conference and Judicial Wing publications.Where can I find out about working groups and how I can be involved?
All our working groups are listed with a brief description on our website.Do I get a discounted conference rate if I’m a member?
Yes, if we have received your membership fees, our members get a discounted rate to our Annual Congress and EECC conference.Are CPD / CPE credits available?
Where possible, INSOL Europe seeks to ensure CPD / CPE credits are available for members attending its events.Can I use INSOL Europe’s logo?
Yes, we are happy for our members to use our logo to show they are an INSOL Europe member, for this purpose only.Where do I find out who my Council &/or Country Coordinator is?

Each year, seats become vacant at the OGM in October when Council members reach the end of their 3-year tenure. In June of that year, nominations are requested to replace the outgoing Council members, and to invite nominations for any new countries which have reached the 30-member threshold. If there is more than one nomination for a country, members from that country are invited to cast a vote and the candidate with the highest number of votes by 10 September will win the seat.To find out more, please visit our website here.
