Mission Statement

Our Mission is to take the leading role in European issues of insolvency and also of business recovery and turnaround situations of business organisations. It is also to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas and exchange of professional experience amongst its members and to have discussions with official European and International bodies who are affected by the insolvency process, or who have a role to play in the saving of businesses and jobs.

The Organisation will encourage greater co-operation and communication within Europe, and also with the rest of the world, particularly through its partnership with INSOL International.

Objectives of the organisation

To take the leadership role in the study and evaluation of insolvency subjects of common interest within Europe To facilitate and co-ordinate the dissemination of both technical and topical insolvency and business recovery information and, in particular, to publish a newsletter and other relevant material and to maintain a website both for the use of members and others.

To discuss and negotiate with relevant officials of European and International bodies in regard to any matter which may concern members

To expand membership and to ensure that the Association is adequately financed to achieve its mission and goals

To organise and hold annual congresses at a variety of venues

To co-operate with INSOL International and all or any of its member organisations and other international associations in connection with any insolvency study or project

To facilitate networking, contact between members and the exchange of professional experience

To assist in education and training for members, their professional staff and others

To maintain a website for the use of members and others, and to publish thereon relevant material produced by committees, Council and others.
